Sanna Ollikainen had been followed for some months because of a tumor in armpit. Finally examinations revealed breast cancer, which had spread to lymphnodes in the armpit. The cancer had not spread any further and was operated soon. The cancer lead Teija near spiritual matters and she gave her life to the Lord. Soon after operation Pirkko Jalovaara prayed for her and she felt a strong touch of the Holy Spirit. One year after operation she went again to Pirkko Jalovaara’s prayer evening and felt even stronger touch and presence of God. Pirkko said “ This cancer will never, never come back and you live still over 40 years”.
""I have read widely on spiritual topics, but it is not really from these books that I have learned to do this work of prayer. My teaching and training have come directly from God. Many years ago, I heard God urging me in the middle of the night: "Pray more!". I had to answer that I did not know how to. Then came the first phone call from a distressed person asking for prayer. The secret of the perseverance is in the joint communion with the other person and Jesus that gives so much through prayer, I participate in your suffering, in prayer I carry you for a short while, in praying I am part of your life, and while praying I am so very close to Jesus."

Marita Johansson has been cured of many diseases by intercessory prayers of Pirkko Jalovaara in prayer evenings. Ten years ago she was healed of alcoholism. Then her coronary artery disease, for which an operation was already scheduled, was healed. Finally a malignant tumor was found in her throat and because it was so aggressive the doctors planned to operate it immediately. Before operation , however, Pirkko prayed for her and when she went to hospital no tumor was found.
Matias Juopperi became an alcoholic already as a teenager. Later he lived long as homeless: he knew where the heated public toilets were. At some point of his life he had received a card from a mission organization. There was written : “ Jesus loves you just the way you are!”. Matias felt that the Lord for the last time urged him to seek help. He went through alcohol withdrawal and spent long time in rehabilitation centers. Finally he decided to get an education for spiritual work and started studies that aimed at the profession as a deacon. The story has a happy end: Matias was was ordained as a deacon and got married with a lovely wife.
